Daniel Price is president of Hunt Energy Network. Prior to HEN, Daniel served as CTO at Sharyland Utilities where he led innovation and efficiency efforts in Information and Operations Technology. Daniel began his career at Hunt as part of the team that created Sharyland Utilities, the first greenfield utility start-up in over 40 years.
Daniel has also led other start-up ventures in the energy industry. He has worked as a renewable energy developer in small generation and has been a partner in an oil/gas financial systems start up that used data mining techniques to develop tools to maximize value for mineral rights owners.
Daniel graduated the University of Texas Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Physics. As a researcher, he developed imaging and analytics systems for an electron microscope that specialized in surface science spectroscopy and microscopy. Daniel holds a patent in metering technology and patents pending surrounding distributed energy resources.
