Curtis Riddle leads the efforts of Hunt Energy’s worldwide commercial and legal teams. Curtis joined Hunt Oil Company (HOC) in 2009 and was responsible for providing transactional legal support for HOC’s domestic and international oil and gas assets. He later expanded that role to include support for HOC’s debt financing and special purpose equity capital efforts.

In 2019, Curtis accepted the role of Senior Vice President Commercial Development for Hunt Energy where he added responsibility for commercial support for all of Hunt’s non-oil and gas efforts to his continuing legal role. In 2021, Curtis accepted the role of General Counsel of Hunt Energy where he now leads the worldwide commercial and legal teams for all non-oil and gas businesses within the Hunt organization.

Curtis was previously an attorney in the Dallas office of Baker Botts L.L.P., where he represented clients on a variety of business transactions and other matters. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a B.S. in Personal Financial Planning and earned his law degree from Texas Tech University School of Law.
